An accident involving a single car that occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Wabaunsee County resulted in significant injuries for a female pedestrian from Eskridge who was 15 years old.
At roughly three miles west of Mission Valley High School, the Kansas Highway Patrol stated that the collision took place approximately three forty minutes after three o’clock in the afternoon.
It was determined that the driver, who has been identified as Corbi M. Tenpenny, was traveling westbound on Mission Valley Road when the 2005 Ford F-250 that she was operating veered off the north edge of the asphalt road.

The vehicle was able to cross both lanes of the road, reach the south ditch, and flip many times before coming to a stop on its wheels as a result of Tenpenny’s excessive correction actions.

At the time of the collision, Tenpenny was not wearing a safety strap, and he was taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City with what are believed to be serious internal injuries.
It has not been disclosed that any new information or updates regarding Tenpenny’s condition have been made public.
