According to several sources, Miguel Sandoval, a 19-year-old suspect, has been taken into custody in relation to a home fire and quadruple killing that occurred in Lancaster. According to information obtained by KTLA, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was called to a shooting at a residence on the 44500 block of Tabler Avenue on November 16 at approximately 1:30 a.m., where a party was allegedly being held.

When deputies arrived, they discovered the house completely engulfed in flames and smoke. They found five victims inside, four of whom were later identified as Edwin Garcia, Christine Aca-ac, Matthew Montebello, and Janvi Maquindang. Four of them were shot and killed. It was stated that these people were “young adults in their 20s.” According to CBS News Los Angeles, the fifth victim, a 16-year-old girl, was unharmed and had escaped to her room before quickly phoning for assistance.

After initially escaping the scene, the alleged shooter was found and taken into custody a few hours later. According to reports from the Sheriff’s Department, the case, which is currently under investigation and is thought to be an isolated event, will be sent to the L.A.
