ANN ARBOR, Mich. (DDN) – An accident involving a single vehicle that occurred early on Saturday morning in Ann Arbor is being investigated by the police.
The Ann Arbor Police Department responded to the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Gralake Avenue on February 15 at around 4:15 a.m. for a single-car rollover accident.
The vehicle had been traveling westbound on Jackson Avenue and had continued straight when the road twisted around Gralake Avenue, according to the officers who discovered it.
According to the police, the vehicle went off the road and collided with a tree that was located in the median. As a result of the tree breaking, the car flipped over.

It was determined that the driver, a woman from Van Buren Twp who was 29 years old, had passed away at the scene of the accident. In this particular collision, she was the only person that was inside the vehicle, and there were no other vehicles involved.
The Ann Arbor Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the collision. When the police arrived at the scene, they were aided by the Ann Arbor Fire Department and the Huron Valley Ambulance.
The driver may have continued straight, which led to the collision, but the police have not disclosed the reason for this.
