42-Year-Old Ohio Man Struck and Killed on Detroit Freeway, Driver on Large

DETROIT, Michi. (DDN) – After receiving reports that someone was in the road, police searched a freeway in Detroit on Sunday night. They discovered the body of a man from Ohio who had been hit by a car.

Around 7:45 p.m., those who called in reported seeing a person wandering on the northbound side of I-75. Another caller then claimed that someone was running on the freeway. Troopers from the Michigan State Police arrived and started searching for the person on foot.

While they were searching, they discovered the body of a man who was 42 years old and lived in Twinsburg, Ohio. He was found dead on the road close to W. Grand Boulevard.

The driver who hit the man with their vehicle did not remain at the location of the incident.

The police are still seeking information regarding that driver.
