FOXBORO, Massa. (DDN) – A collision involving many vehicles that occurred on Friday on Interstate 95 in Foxboro, Massachusetts, resulted in the death of a man.
On Friday, just before 5 o’clock, state police said that they attended to a three-car collision on Interstate 95 south, just before Exit 23B, where there were serious casualties.
Based on the preliminary evidence, it appears that a driver experienced a medical incident that resulted in his vehicle leaving the lane and entering the median. Subsequently, the vehicle veered back onto the roadway, ultimately colliding with two other vehicles. In addition to providing the motorist with medical assistance, first responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
The state police have determined that he is William Martindale, 57 years old, and he is from Attleboro.

Another one of the operators sustained injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening and was also transported to the hospital.
As a result of the investigation that took place at the scene, the roadway was restored to regular traffic at approximately 7:40 p.m.
