The Metropolitan Police Department has made an arrest in the shooting death of a woman in the 700 block of Atlantic Street, Southeast. The incident, which claimed the life of 24-year-old Olivia Graves, unfolded on the afternoon of Thursday, November 7, according to

Authorities arrived at the scene around 3:31 p.m., where they discovered Graves suffering from a gunshot wound. DC Fire, and EMS responded promptly, taking her to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Graves hailed from Upper Marlboro, MD.
