74-year-old Man Dies after Jeep Fails to Stop at Sign in Wexford County Crash

WEXFORD COUNTY, Michi. (DDN) – A man died in an automobile accident that occurred over the weekend in Wexford County.

According to the report, deputies were summoned to the scene of a crash on Friday night. The crash occurred at the intersection of 34 and 39 roads in Haring Township, which is located near Cadillac. A Jeep Cherokee that was driving on 39 Road failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a GMC Yukon that was driving on 34 Road.

According to the report, a 74-year-old man from Cadillac who was driving the Yukon died at the site. The woman from St. Louis, Michigan, who was driving the Cherokee is 42 years old and did not suffer any significant injuries.

According to the authorities, alcohol is thought to be a contributing role. An investigation is being conducted into the crash.

Recently, as part of a statewide effort, Rogers authorities arrested a man suspected of being involved in human trafficking at three local massage parlors after working with other agencies.

On February 3, Yuhe Yang was arrested for involvement in a continuing criminal organization and people trafficking.

The Rogers Police Department, the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office, the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office joined forces in the fall of 2024 to look into human trafficking activities connected to three Asian massage parlors.

According to the release, the investigation was completed on January 23 when concurrent search warrants for Tulip Massage, Stream Massage, and Ping Massage were executed.
