Method to find the murder capitals of Virginia

We wanted to use something other than speculation and opinion to determine which cities in a state are the most dangerous, so we looked at surveys and public polls. Instead, we used Saturday Night Science to compare the actual numbers from the FBI’s most recent report. We specifically examined the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report, which provides a yearly summary of the number of murders in each city.
