Estranged Husband Stabbed His Wife To Death In Montco Bedroom

Police in Montgomery County say that the woman’s dead body was found in her bedroom on Wednesday morning by her ex-husband.

The DA’s office in Montgomery County said that Kenneth Shea, 37, of Feasterville-Trevose killed his wife Elizabeth Shea with a knife. “This is a sad case, and our thoughts are with Elizabeth Shea’s family,” said District Attorney Kevin Steele.

At about 12:36 a.m., Kenneth Shea took an Uber from the Comfort Inn in Feasterville-Trevose. At 12:55 a.m., he was dropped off near his wife’s house on the 1000 block of Cromwell Lane in Wyndmoor.

Investigators say Kenneth Shea tried to break in by turning on the air conditioning inside the house. The cops say he stabbed his wife more than once.

Police found Elizabeth Shea’s body in the main bedroom around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Police in Bensalem SWAT found Kenneth in Room 314 of the Comfort Inn and arrested him as he was leaving the room.

He is being held without bail because he is being charged with first-degree murder and other crimes. Police took him to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility and charged him. His first court hearing is scheduled for April 23.
