A 16-year-old boy has been arrested for shooting 10 people during a fight that turned into a shooting at a place near Sanford, Florida. This happened early on Sunday, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. A professional football player was one of the people who were harmed.
According to sheriff’s deputies, the police went to a place called Cabana Live because there was a big group of people there. The Houston Texans’ wide receiver, Tank Dell, was injured in the shooting incident, according to the team. According to the team, he was checked at a nearby hospital and then allowed to leave.
Shortly after midnight, the police heard gunshots coming from the area behind the building. When they went to check, they discovered that the gunshots had caused the crowd to scatter. However, 10 people were injured in the shooting, but their injuries were not life-threatening.
The police have identified the suspect as Christopher Bouie Jr., who is 16 years old. He has been booked into a juvenile detention center, according to the sheriff’s office.

Investigators said that the event began as an argument with words, but it became more aggressive and unfriendly. Bouie’s arrest report stated that the teenager was not initially part of the fight. However, the report mentioned that the teen later turned around and took out a black and silver handgun (9mm). The teen then started shooting towards a group of people.
The local news media decided to reveal Bouie’s name, even though they are a minor, because of the seriousness of the charges.
The arrest report states that Bouie is being charged with several offenses, including possession of a firearm by a minor, using and displaying a firearm during a felony, firing a weapon on public property, and attempted homicide.
The report stated that the officer who arrested Bouie was able to apprehend him almost immediately and disarm him quickly. According to the report, some of the people who were shot by Bouie have stated that they plan to file charges.
Cabana Live replied on social media.
“I’m sure many of you have heard about what happened outside our place last night.” A statement on the Cabana Live Facebook page said that they are working together with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and sending prayers to everyone involved.
