Matthew 25: Ministries Responds to Major Great Plains Storms

Matthew 25: Ministries is helping with the tornado damage caused by the severe storms that happened on April 26 and 27 in the Great Plains. There were many tornadoes reported, and the most damaging ones moved through areas in Nebraska, Iowa, and Oklahoma.

Many buildings were damaged or destroyed, and numerous trees and powerlines were ripped from the ground. As a result, thousands of people are currently without power.

Several people have been injured, and there has been at least one reported death. Almost 47 million more people are in danger of experiencing severe weather on Sunday. Approximately 18 million people are under flood watches until Sunday afternoon.

Matthew 25: Ministries is working together with Proctor & Gamble and Walmart to help people affected by the tornadoes. They are sending their Disaster Response Team along with the Tide Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry Unit and a mobile shower unit to provide assistance.

The team will give out personal care kits from P&G, Pampers diapers, paper products, Zevo insect repellent, and other supplies like garbage bags and cleaning supplies from Cintas.
