Dunes Summer Theatre in Michigan City welcomes audiences to a captivating rendition of “Talley’s Folly,” the esteemed 1980 Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Lanford Wilson. Positioned as the second installment in The Talley Trilogy, between “Talley & Son” and “Fifth of July,” the play transports viewers to 1944 within the confines of an abandoned Missouri boathouse. Here, an unlikely relationship blossoms between Matt Friedman, a pragmatic middle-aged accountant, and Sally Talley, a reticent young nurse.
The theatre invites guests to enjoy performances at 7 p.m. CDT on Fridays and Saturdays, with matinees at 2 p.m. CDT on Sundays. Tickets are priced at $35 each, with a discounted rate of $25 available for purchases of four or more tickets. A special preview performance on June 27 offers tickets at $15. Following the opening night performance on June 28, an exclusive reception will be held, requiring a $20 admission fee.
