Reported by the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer N. Solomon, traveling southbound near the scene was the black Jaguar. Inside, the male driver, 24 years old, whose identity has not yet been officially released, was pronounced dead following the crash. His identification is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Found suffering from major injuries, the female passenger, also 24, was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
