After the defense rested, the state called rebuttal witnesses to the stand, which included the return of witness Breann Wilber. Her previous testimony had her on the Monon High Bridge, where she snapped a photo, timestamped 12:25 p.m., on the day the victims were last seen. According to an interview obtained by

, Wilber did not recall seeing the girls or anyone who matched the description of the suspect known as “Bridge Guy” on that day. Defense attorney Andrew Baldwin noted Wilber’s detailed recollection, stating she had “pretty good memory for seven-and-a-half years later.”
