A 57-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint in Compton Heights, as reported by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. The incident, which the police say took place around 10:30 p.m. last night, began when two men in a grey sedan accused the woman of a hit-and-run and then trailed her to an apartment parking lot.

The victim recounted that after a verbal exchange at the intersection of S. Grand & Shenandoah, the men followed her. Upon reaching the parking lot, one suspect, armed with a pistol, demanded her possessions while his accomplice began to assault her. As per the victim’s statement, the assailants took off with her money and car keys.

have disclosed that the woman declined medical attention at the scene. The St. Louis Police Department’s District 3 is actively investigating the crime and has made a call for tips.
