Seattle authorities have arrested a woman on charges of second-degree murder following a Tuesday night incident in South Seattle. The

reports that at approximately 8:00 p.m. on November 5th, officers responded to a disturbance call in the 9200 block of Spear Place South. Patrol discovered a 33-year-old female causing property damage, specifically the breaking of glass, at the location mentioned.
The scene soon escalated to reveal a more dire situation. Seattle Fire Department swiftly assessed the suspect and opted to swiftly transport her to Harborview Medical Center for evaluation. During this time, police uncovered the body of a 67-year-old male inside the residence. The victim presented with apparent signs of trauma, directing investigators down a path that intersected tragedy with criminality.
Upon her arrival at Harborview Medical Center, the previously detained woman was then arrested in connection with the murder. The arrest was not without incident; the suspect has been reported to have assaulted an officer. Both the officer and the suspect were medically evaluated following the encounter and subsequently released, with the woman being booked into King County Jail on charges of Murder in the 2nd Degree.
