Suspect Arrested in Theft of Glendale Church’s Truck and Trailer; Police Seek Missing Ford F-250

An arrest has been made in the case of the October 26 theft of a truck, trailer, and equipment valued at approximately $30,000 from The Table Church in Glendale. Edward Charles Gouer Jr., age 44, is facing charges of theft after police recovered the church’s trailer and its contents in Tonopah, reported

. The Glendale Police Department continues to search for the still-missing silver Ford F-250 and has urged the public to come forward with any information.

Glendale police were able to quickly to follow up on the anonymous tip they received on November 5, leading to a search warrant for the property where the trailer had been stashed. According to

, detectives drafted a warrant on the same day the tip came in and found “the stolen trailer along with all its’ contents.”

Surveillance footage from the church property on the evening of the theft showed a dark-colored Chevrolet Trailblazer driving onto the premises and parking behind the vehicle to be stolen. “Shortly after, the truck headlights are seen turning on, and the truck and trailer begin to drive away, leaving westbound with the Trailblazer following,”

Pastor Cody Deevers of The Table Church, when asked by

about the impact of the theft, affirmed that services were still held, undeterred by the loss. “All of our chairs, all of our racks, all the furniture that goes in our lobby that we make for the check-in tables and all that stuff,” he explained in relation to the equipment taken. He added, “It didn’t stop us that day. I mean, the church has been through a whole lot worse and this wasn’t going to stop us, so we just pivoted.”
