, the incident took place on the evening of Wednesday, October 9 at around 6:42 p.m. in the 1300 block of 19th Street, Northwest. The suspects reportedly assaulted an individual, snatched their belongings, and then escaped from the vicinity.

Surveillance cameras in the area captured images of the suspects, which the police have released to the public. A video containing these images is available via a link to YouTube, where potential witnesses can view the suspects. If a member of the community has any information regarding the identity of these suspects or details about the crime, they are urged to refrain from taking action themselves but to contact police at (202) 727-9099. Alternatively, tips can be sent anonymously to the MPD’s text tip line at 50411.
