Following a distressing discovery in Fond du Lac County, nearly 50 to 70 dogs have been rescued from a residence in a state of neglect. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home in the Town of Calumet after receiving reports of an overwhelming odor emanating from the property,

. Deputies, upon arriving around 11:30 a.m. yesterday, found dozens of dogs living in what has been described as ‘deplorable’ conditions that required a search warrant issued by a judge for fuller access.
