Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley announced a series of indictments following a spate of violent incidents in Cleveland involving shootings at officers and several other offenses. Ray Agosto, 39, Wayne Agosto, 32, and Dakota Greene, 25, are facing attempted murder charges for their alleged roles in shooting at officers. In a similar thread, Jordan Stacer, 34, and Dylan Mitchell, 31, have been indicted on separate but related incidents, according to details released by the prosecutor’s office.
The charges stem from a series of events beginning on September 30, when Dakota Greene allegedly brandished a firearm and shot at four individuals after an exchange in a parking lot near Pearl Road and Denison Avenue. The confrontation escalated over the subsequent weeks, involving multiple shootings and threats. For instance, on October 23, Ray Agosto reportedly shot at a residence amid a dispute over a vehicle, and later, Sunda, joined by Greene and Stacer, returned to shoot at a car parked at the same residence, the

In one violent encounter, Ray Agosto allegedly assaulted his downstairs neighbor and threatened her husband with a gun, the details of which came to light when shell casings were found under their car hood. , leading to a shootout with the police.
After Wayne Agosto and Dylan Mitchell were arrested at the scene, Dakota Greene was apprehended at an apartment complex, and Ray Agosto was taken into custody following a standoff with law enforcement, including the U.S. Marshals Service’s Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, Cleveland SWAT Team, and the Cleveland Division of Police. These incidents have resulted in a slew of charges that include attempted murder, felonious assault, and having weapons under disability, among others. “I am thankful the Cleveland officers were not injured while trying to apprehend Ray Agosto. These violent gun-toting predators have no care in the world for our community and I am glad they are off our streets,”
Prosecutor O’Malley
was quoted saying.
The Cleveland Division of Police is conducting the ongoing investigation, and further details on the case are expected as it progresses. The indictments handed down on November 6th, 2024, emphasize the gravity of the offenses and the threat to community safety posed by these individuals’ alleged actions.
