The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) confirmed it is investigating a shooting incident that resulted in a fatality in Southeast Washington DC. The event occurred on a recent Tuesday night and authorities were summoned in response to gunfire.

from MPD, officers arrived at the 3300 block of 6th Street, Southeast, around 10:52 p.m. on November 5. Upon their arrival, they found an adult male inflicted with gunshot wounds. The victim, later hospitalized, succumbed to his injuries despite efforts to save his life.
The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Keion Naylor, a resident of Suitland, Maryland, as detailed by the
