Lusk, who failed to appear in court for trial in September, is wanted for distribution of a controlled substance causing death, after a victim suffered a fatal fentanyl overdose. Information from the

report suggests that Lusk is considered ‘armed and dangerous’ and his ideologies align with the sovereign citizen movement, a group typically holding anti-government beliefs.
The task force has issued a description of Lusk as a 6-foot-tall Black male, weighing between 200-225 pounds, possibly bald or with short hair and, he was last observed in the vicinity of Lincoln Park, potentially driving an older red Chevrolet Silverado, bearing the Michigan license plate DE22011, as detailed in a press release from the
U.S. Marshals Service
. Marshal Owen Cypher expressed the gravity of Lusk’s apprehension stating, “Mr. Lusk represents a clear danger to the citizens of Detroit and the Eastern District of Michigan.”
