Cerise Shanafelt, Animal Control Supervisor, shared the shelter’s excitement for the event, saying, “All adoption fees are sponsored by Best Friends Animal Society during the event.” During Dogsgiving, potential pet owners are encouraged to bring donations of toys, food, and cleaning supplies to support the shelter animals instead of adopting, as reported by the

The “Dogsgiving” event offers a chance to adopt dogs and take advantage of several services. The AZ Vet Vaccine Clinic will provide low-cost vaccines on a first-come, first-served basis, while Pawfect Grooming will offer free nail trims and a grooming session with each adoption.
