One of the residents affected, Steven Clark and Renee Wilson-Clark, described the shock of the situation. “I was really worried about the garage door caving in because it was such a hard flow,” Wilson-Clark said, per

. The Clark family noted that attempts to reach the emergency water company line were futile as they couldn’t get through. The water continued its relentless surge for over two and a half hours.
