, the incident transpired at approximately 11:40 a.m. at the crossroads of Hwy 99 and Ellen Ave when a Ford Windstar attempted to join the highway and was hit by a northbound Toyota Camry.

Timothy J. Hunt, a 72-year-old resident of Medford who was behind the wheel of the Ford Windstar, made a turn onto Hwy 99 as Brian I. Paramo Zizumbo, a 26-year-old from the same town, approached from the opposite direction in his Toyota, leading to a collision that ejected and killed one passenger, Brian R. Foreman, age 76, from Central Point, Paramo Zizumbo was seriously injured and both drivers were transported to a local hospital. The on-scene law enforcement and emergency personnel comprised members from the Oregon State Police, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the Central Point Police Department, Jackson County Fire District 3, and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), as the
