Baltimore police have taken into custody a 16-year-old boy after a carjacking incident that left an elderly woman injured. The arrest followed an event yesterday around 2:50 p.m. when officers responded to a call in the 6700 block of Park Heights Avenue. According to reports by

, they discovered an 83-year-old woman who had sustained multiple injuries to her forearms and knees.
Two suspects had approached the woman while retrieving items from her vehicle. “One of the suspects grabbed her out of the vehicle, throwing her to the ground before driving away in her vehicle,” police stated. Less than two hours after the incident, the woman’s vehicle was found by the police in the 2800 block of Rosalind Avenue.
