Hollywood Family’s Pets Rescued from House Fire Amidst Loss of Home and Memories

A fire broke out in a Hollywood home early this morning, leading to the rescue of a family’s pets. Hollywood Fire Rescue crews arrived at the scene in the 6200 block of Arthur Street at around 9:45 a.m. The firefighters battled the blaze and saved an adult dog, two puppies, and a turtle. The family was in the process of selling the home and relocating to St. Augustine, and unfortunately, they do not have insurance to cover the damages.
