Boston Police Arrest Two Men, Seize Drugs and Weapons in Dorchester Raid

Authorities in the Boston area have taken two men into custody following a targeted drug operation yesterday afternoon. Ramon Pinnick, 34, of Dorchester, faces charges related to drug distribution and illegal ammunition possession, as police executed search warrants at 135 East Cottage Street in a combined effort by the Drug Control Units of Districts B-2 (Roxbury) and C-6 (South Boston).

highlighted the recovery of 62 bags of marijuana totaling around 204 grams, three bags of approximately 15 grams of crack cocaine, ammunition, gun magazines, a ballistic vest, and drug paraphernalia. Additionally, authorities seized $2,968 in cash from the location.

The raid not only brought Pinnick under the scrutiny of law enforcement but also Derrick Steele, 36, of Boston, who was present during the operation. Steele, apprehended on separate charges for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery, was taken into custody on the strength of two warrants.

Both Pinnick and Steele are scheduled for arraignment at Roxbury District Court, according to the police report. Pinnick is charged with possession with intent to distribute Class B and Class D substances as well as unlawful possession of ammunition.
