According to the CPD, these incidents occurred in early November, with burglars forcibly entering businesses and swiftly absconding with stolen items. The first reported burglary took place on the 400 Block of East 75th Street on November 2nd around midnight, and a second break-in was on the 200 Block of East 75th Street on November 8th at approximately 4:25 AM, both events share a similar pattern of forced entry and quick escape, which suggests a connection between the two incidents; the Chicago Police encourages everyone to be extra cautious in the area.
