The City of Hilliard has welcomed a new addition to its team. Yesterday, it announced the appointment of Jessica Gibson as the new Fiscal Officer. Gibson will take on a suite of responsibilities within the Finance Department, including accounting, financial reporting, and auditing functions.

Having cut her teeth as a Fiscal Analyst for the City of Chattanooga, Tenn., Gibson brings a wealth of expertise in budget analysis and expenditure tracking. Her transfer to Hilliard marks a return to her Ohio roots and a step up in her career in public service. She maintains financial oversight over the city’s operating and capital budgets and lends her hand to the broader fiscal management objectives of the community.
