The incident led officers back to the scene of the crime, where it was discovered that two of the vehicles had been used to force entry into the store while other suspects stole merchandise.

Subsequent developments detailed by the SFPD saw investigators arrest 24-year-old Denayaha Duree, initially for an unrelated burglary and then for her involvement in the Union Square incident. Duree is currently facing charges, including burglary, vandalism, and possession of stolen property.
