According to Pham’s account, the situation escalated quickly as one of the assailants pointed a gun at him while another proceeded to tackle him to the ground. “I got blindsided, just three guys randomly walked into the garage with me,” he explained. His efforts to defend himself led him to retreat into his home to grab his firearm as the attackers fired multiple shots, all missing their target.
