Everett Tragedy: Woman Fatally Hit by Car on Evergreen Way, Not in Crosswalk

A 34-year-old woman was fatally struck by a vehicle as she crossed Evergreen Way in Everett yesterday night, authorities reported. The Everett Fire Department (EFD) stated that the accident occurred a little before 10 p.m. in the 11800 block of Evergreen Way, where the victim attempted to cross mid-block and not at a designated crosswalk. Following the fatal incident, the Everett Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit became involved with the investigation.
