Thursday’s forecast promises ample sunshine and a high near 55, according to theweather service. With a west wind blowing at 10 to 15 mph and occasionally gusting up to 30 mph. However, residents will want to bundle up as clear conditions continue into Thursday night, with lows once again hovering around 37.

The trend of sunny days extends into the weekend, with highs in the mid-50s on Saturday and climbing into the 60s by Sunday. Nighttime will bring mostly clear skies with lows in the mid-to-low 40s, making for refreshingly crisp evenings. So while the start of the week may pour down on the city, the latter half offers a sunny reprieve to the citizens of Atlanta.
