White Settlement Concludes Successful 2024 Community Cleanup; Announces 2025 Dates and New Location

The city’s final Community Cleanup of 2024 has concluded, encouraging residents to begin planning for next year’s civic events. According to a social media announcement by theCity of White Settlement, the last cleanup event of this year took place last Friday and Saturday, allowing locals to dispose of accumulated unwanted items responsibly.

Looking toward 2025, the cleanup initiative is slated to continue with several alterations in its operation. It will now take place at a new address, 8212 Albert Street. Future events are scheduled to happen on seven designated Saturdays throughout the year.

For those inclined to participate, each event will run from 8 AM to 5 PM, with dates earmarked as follows: March 15th, April 12th, May 17th, June 21st, September 20th, October 18th, and November 15th. The city’s administration mandates that residents secure a voucher from the utility billing customer service before the cleanup. This procedural step ensures an organized flow on the day of the event.

Laying out the prerequisites, community members must present an active residential water bill and a valid driver s license at the time of their drop-off an essential requirement reflecting the event’s residents-only orientation. Following guidelines, individuals are limited to one drop-off per voucher for each event. Certain items, including appliances containing Freon, tires, electronics, or household hazardous waste, will not be accepted, ensuring safety and compliance are at the forefront of the clean-up strategy.
