Wesley Goff, a 53-year-old resident, died from injuries sustained in a vehicle-pedestrian collision in early August. The Clark County Coroner’s Office confirmed he passed away on August 12 at University Medical Center, bringing the total traffic-related fatalities in Las Vegas to 141.
According to theLas Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred around 12:32 AM on August 5 at the intersection of Industrial Road and West Wyoming Avenue. Goff was struck by a 2021 Toyota Camry driven by 26-year-old Jose Enriquez, who was traveling north on Industrial Road. Goff was reportedly crossing against the pedestrian signal when the collision happened. Enriquez stopped his vehicle and was not impaired, cooperating with authorities.
Emergency responders transported Goff to the trauma center at University Medical Center, where he died a week later. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, led by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department s Collision Investigation Section.
