A man is being sought by Manhattan police for allegedly attacking an 84-year-old woman on the Upper East Side. The elderly woman was pushed to the ground on East 86th Street at noon on Saturday, according to police, as PIX11 reported.

Authorities said the attacker left the area at 12:45 p.m. and drove north on 3rd Avenue. After arriving on the site, EMS treated the woman. Additional information provided by AM NY indicates that the attack took place in front of a beauty supply store located inside the 19th Precinct’s jurisdiction at 188 E. 86 St. Police published surveillance footage and images of the suspect on Monday, showing him going through a store wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
