Las Vegas Traffic Alert as I-15 Faces Overnight Closures for ATM Sign Installations

Early in December, the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced that Interstate 15 (I-15) will be closed overnight. Between Flamingo Road and Russell Road, southbound lanes will be blocked from 9:00 p.m. on December 3 until 5:00 a.m. on December 4. Between Russell Road and Tropicana Avenue, northbound I-15 will be blocked from 9:00 p.m. on December 4 until 5:00 a.m. on December 5. During these closures, a number of on- and off-ramps will also not be accessible.

According to the Nevada Department of Transportation, the closures are necessary to install Active Traffic Management (ATM) signs, which will improve motorist safety by displaying dynamic speed limits, lane-use directives, and real-time traffic information.
