Man Shot in Early Morning Dispute at Atlanta Gas Station, Female Suspects at Large

A man was shot in the chest during a heated confrontation that started early in the morning at an Atlanta petrol station. According to an official statement from the Atlanta Police Department, the event happened at 180 Ponce De Leon at around 3:38 in the morning. When police arrived on the scene, they discovered a male victim who had been shot after a fight with two female suspects.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment by Atlanta’s Grady EMS, who responded quickly. Although authorities at the time did not disclose the extent of the victim’s injuries or his current state, it is evident that the altercation outside the gas station was severe enough to justify gunfire. The early inquiry indicates that one of the females may have shot the victim after the altercation that started inside spilled onto the street. According to the department’s news release, the suspects then drove away from the scene, allegedly shooting the victim one more time as they did so.

The suspects are still at large as of right now, and more information about the events leading up to the shooting has not yet been completely revealed. The Atlanta Police Department is investigating the event in the hopes that security footage and any surviving evidence would help in identifying and apprehending the perpetrators of the heinous act, despite the early hour and possible lack of witnesses.

Law enforcement is asking anyone with knowledge to come forward as they continue their investigation into the severe attack.
