Austin Police Seek Public Assistance to Find Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run on Ben White Boulevard

The Austin Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run case. The collision that killed a man happened on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, just after one in the morning, according to the APD. The pedestrian victim, now known as Michael Schoenherr, was declared dead at the site.
