Nashville’s National Weather Service predicts a mostly sunny week with erratic temperatures that could give residents a taste of fall and a hint of early winter.According to today’s weather forecast, there will be clear sky, a high of around 49 degrees, and a west wind that is moving at 10 to 20 miles per hour with possible gusts of up to 30 miles per hour.

As temperatures drop to a low of around 37 degrees tonight, Nashvillians can anticipate more clouds. The west wind will continue to blow steadily at about 10 miles per hour, with gusts of up to 20 mph. With a high of about fifty degrees, the weather looks to be partly sunny heading into Friday. The wind, however, stays constant at 10 to 15 miles per hour from the west-northwest.

In the early hours of Saturday, when temperatures will drop to about 34 degrees, residents should be aware that patchy frost may form late Friday night. According to the NWS, the pattern of clear skies and light breezes is expected to continue through Saturday, when bright skies and a high of almost 56 degrees are expected.

Though forecasts for the start of next week point to a wetter outlook, the calm weather is only a brief reprieve. Monday’s high will be close to 69 degrees, increasing the likelihood of showers with a 60% probability of precipitation. As the low lowers to about 38 degrees on Monday night, there is still a chance of showers, mostly before midnight.
