Officers from Livermore saw a white Honda CRV driving quickly away from the area. They saw that the car’s windows were tinted too darkly, which was clearly against the law. The cops found that the vehicle was registered to a San Francisco-based owner after conducting a brief records check. Officers observed tote bags that seemed to be full and numerous toothpaste boxes on the car’s floorboard during the traffic stop.

The individuals that were arrested were Marahco Marshall, 22, of San Francisco, and Anita Lopez and Trevon Williams, both 20. They admitted to stealing a number of commonplace things meant for resale from Lucky’s during the stop. They also acknowledged robbing Safeway on First Street in the past.

After Lucky’s staff scanned and tallied the stolen merchandise, they discovered an astounding 707 items worth more than $8,500. The Safeway store estimated that they lost more than $480 on 34 goods. Every item was sent back to the merchants.

The Livermore Police charged all three with conspiracy to conduct a felony, receiving stolen property, and organized retail theft.
