19-Year-Old Cyclist Fatally Struck by Bus at Spring Hill Intersection, Investigation Underway

On Wednesday night, a horrible event occurred in Spring Hill, Tennessee, where a bus struck and killed 19-year-old cyclist Jacob Crawford. The collision happened at the junction of Main Street and Campbell Station Parkway at approximately 5:45 p.m., according to WSMV. Crawford was waiting for traffic in the continuous turn lane when a 50-seat or more Prevost passenger bus trying to leave a Publix parking lot struck him as it made a left turn onto Campbell Station Parkway, according to the Spring Hill Police Department (SHPD).

The reason of the accident is still being investigated, the SHPD stressed.
