Osceola County Mother Accused of Daughter’s Fatal Harm, Charged with Assault and Battery

A mother is charged with killing her 14-year-old daughter in a troubling case from Osceola County. According to WFTV, after police arrived at the family’s home in response to a 911 call, Kelsey Glover was taken into custody. Glover is charged with battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, all of which are connected to the circumstances surrounding her daughter’s untimely death.

According to information made public by the authorities, Glover and her roommate, Shantee Latrese Bryant, had a furious dispute about her daughter’s medical treatment prior to the tragic event. Glover’s decision to stop giving her daughter the insulin she was prescribed was one of the factors that led to the girl’s declining health.

Bryant claims that she confronted Glover after noticing the youngster exhibiting signs of illness, including weakness and vomiting. Glover is accused of holding her daughter’s head underwater in the bathtub during their argument, a serious conduct that ultimately rendered her unconscious.

When Glover allegedly threatened Bryant with a hammer, the altercation turned violent, and Bryant quickly called for police. Bryant claims that Glover’s aggravated assault occurred at this point, when she tried to step in, as reported by FOX 35 Orlando. An official cause of death will be determined by the Osceola County Medical Examiner after the girl was taken to the hospital and declared dead.

Glover’s court appearance is set for 2:30 p.m. today. Additional charges are pending the conclusion of the current investigation, according to authorities.
