A 16-year-old boy was badly injured when gunfire entered an SUV on Interstate 55, causing tragedy. The incident happened close to the interstate construction zone, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. The victim’s father was the motorist who alerted the police as he hurried to get assistance, arriving at 4th and Walnut where emergency personnel could meet him.
