As police look for four people linked to a horrific road rage incident that killed a young woman and injured others, including a toddler, the Memphis community is dealing with a tragedy. According to Action News 5, a lady was shot and killed last Friday during what was described as a road rage fight on Winchester Road near Winbrook Drive, and the Memphis Police Department has reportedly detained a suspect in the investigation.
The victim, identified as 23-year-old Rodneisha Denton, was involved in an altercation that escalated before the deadly shooting and the ensuing car wreck, which injured a 27-year-old man and a 1-year-old infant who are expected to recover, according to a report from FOX13 Memphis. A car flipped over into a ditch after the incident, which happened early Friday morning.
Investigators are asking the public for help in identifying the suspects they believe are connected in the case, which is making it more intense.
