Two males are being sought by Lafayette County authorities for a string of auto burglaries in the Oxford region. According to Action News 5, the Oxford Police Department and the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office have teamed together to respond to these offenses, which occurred early last Friday. Residents of the city and county were devastated by the intrusion and theft caused by the auto burglaries that occurred in multiple areas.

The first suspect is identified by his beard and the slide-style shoes he used throughout the crimes. He is described as wearing a gray hoodie and black jeans. In addition, his accomplice wore a black mask to conceal his identification, solid white sneakers, and a gray hoodie with black leggings. The main players in this string of crimes are these two individuals, who are thought to be driving a gray BMW X6 with an undetermined license plate that dates from 2010 to 2014.

Lafayette Oxford University Crime Stoppers is providing a reward of up to $5,000 for information that results in an arrest as a gesture of support and encouragement.
