As Maple Grove prepares for their annual Christmas endeavor, the Toys for CROSS drive, in collaboration with CROSS Services, the city is embracing the holiday spirit. The Maple Grove Police Department recently posted on social media that residents are urged to donate brand-new, unwrapped toys for kids under ten. To ensure a broader reach of holiday pleasure, the project also accepts gift card contributions from people between the ages of 11 and 17.
From 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., until December 19, donations can be made at several locations across the city, such as the main door of the Community Center, the main entrance of the Government Center, the Public Safety entrance, and the Public Works main entrance. The choice to buy a gift from CROSS’s Amazon toy list has been made available for people who are time-constrained or would rather donate remotely. This convenience guarantees that the intended kindness reaches its target without requiring physical labor, in addition to facilitating giving.
Half of CROSS Services’ efforts are devoted to helping local households in Maple Grove, making it a familiar haven for families and the surrounding areas since 1977. As a result, the act of contributing to the Toys for CROSS campaign strikes a strong chord with the local community and has a direct impact on families.
The Maple Grove Police Department says, “By participating in Toys for CROSS, your donations will directly help local families in need this holiday season,” highlighting the value of community involvement. A more cohesive and joyous Maple Grove may result from the united goal of igniting happiness via small deeds of kindness. By highlighting that these initiatives are not just charitable deeds but rather the cornerstone of a robust and compassionate community, local police are using social media to mobilize the populace.
