(CBS DETROIT) In one of the biggest surprises of the season in college football, the Michigan Wolverines defeated the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes 13-10 on Saturday afternoon.
With less than a minute remaining in the game, Michigan (7-5) kicker Dominic Zvada broke a 10-10 deadlock with a 21-yard field goal. Ohio State’s (10-2) last-minute score attempt was thwarted by the Wolverines defense.
A weak passing attack was compensated for by Michigan’s strong ground game. Mullings gained 114 yards and one touchdown on 29 rushes. On three carries, Alex Orji gained 32 rushing yards.
With two interceptions, quarterback Davis Warren completed nine passes for 62 yards. Will Howard, the quarterback for Ohio State, was 18 for 29 with two interceptions and one score.
This is Michigan’s fourth consecutive victory over Ohio State.
