(CBS DETROIT) Southeast Michigan is expected to experience another bout of snow and extremely frigid temperatures.
Similar to the winter weather that occurred last week, a few snow squalls are expected to arrive by Wednesday night. A band of heavy snow that moves quickly is called a snow squall. Snow totals won’t be high because the squalls will move in and out rapidly.
By Thursday morning, much of Southeast Michigan should have between one and three inches of snow. You should anticipate 2 to 4 inches in Northern Sanilac County.
The season’s coldest air will creep in behind the snow. Only Thursday afternoon highs will be in the low to mid-20s, and Friday morning highs will be in the upper 20s.
The lows on Thursday and Friday mornings will be in the teens. Highs will rise back into the 40s over the weekend, and Saturday might see a wintry mix.
